Meritorious service while serving as Flight Chief, Nutritional Medicine, 59th Medical Diagnostics and Therapeutics Squadron, 59th Medical Wing, Joint Base San Antonio, and Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. During this period, Master Sergeant King was the Nutritional Medicine Senior Enlisted Leader across three elements, overseeing 242,000 San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) beneficiaries. His efforts ensured the flawless execution of 3,500 clinical visits in the Department of Defense's largest ambulatory surgical center, increasing relative value units by 247,000 dollars which exceeded the standard by 15 percent. Additionally, he was selected as an additional duty First Sergeant and Squadron Superintendent, and managed the operations budget and maintained quality of life for 220 active duty and civilian personnel. Meritorious service while serving as Senior Enlisted Leader, Forward Aviation Detchment-Niamey, Joint Special Operations Air Component-Africa, Air Base 101, Niamey, Niger. During this period, Senior Master Sergeant Dennis Holmes led Joint Special Operations Air Component's largest Detachment consisting of one hundred and forty members and nine aircraft. Moreover, his leadership enabled 789 sorties including four casualty evacuations, movement of over 25,000 pounds of cargo, and 280 personnel. He also enabled the execution of over 9,200 flight hours including over 8,000 hours of vital intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, across a three million square mile area of responsibility. Additionally, Sergeant Holmes provided vital input during 16 base command staff meetings, shaping base development, expansion, force protection, and flightline space allocation for over 250 million dollars worth of aircraft and equipment. Furthermore, he served as a member of the Coronavirus Working Group where he coordinated the delivery, storage and administration of 650 COVID-19 vaccinations, eradicating the presence of COVID-19 cases on Airbase 101. Finally, Sergeant Holmes instituted tours of ISR, mapping, and LIDAR contracted assets for 23 base organizations, ultimately integrating them into the base commander's vision of providing mission ownership for AB101's Airmen and Soldiers. His program boosted base morale and focused partners' efforts to support the Forward Aviation Detachment-Niamey mission. Meritorious service while serving as Senior Enlisted Leader, 4th Air Support Operations Group, 435th Air Ground Operations Wing, Lucius D. Clay Kaserne, Germany. During this period, Chief Master Sergeant Julia Anderson deployed as the Tactical Air Control Party's Senior Enlisted Leader. In this important assignment, she advised the U.S. Army's Fifth Corps forward command post during the crisis in Ukraine and coordinated joint air and land activities to enhance the terms across the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's eastern flank. Additionally, she orchestrated the relocation of the Air Support Operations Group's command post to Poland, ensuring uninterrupted air integration and weather support to the U.S. European Command contingency operations and Fifth Corps exercises. Furthermore, during an Air Force level integration exercise, she identified procedural gaps between U.S. Army Europe's Theater Fires Command and Air Force tactical command and control teams, enabling the development of critical air denial capabilities for the theater. Finally, she initiated and oversaw a strategic basing action to relocate the 4th Air Support Operations Group headquarters from an Army garrison to Ramstein Air Base which increased the operational capabilities of the group and the quality of life for their Airmen for years to come.
