Staff Sergeant Maydanell C. Lim distinguished herself by meritorious service as Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, Receiving Section, 92nd Logistics Readiness Squadron, 92nd Air Refueling Wing, Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington. During this period, Sergeant Lim expediently researched 83 shipments with discrepancies, promptly submitting Supply Discrepancy Reports to shipping activities, saving the Air Force $85,000 in recovered assets. Additionally, Sergeant Lim was chosen to lead and provide in depth Material Management Training to seven Traffic Material Management members during a three-phase Integrated Receipt Process which was noted as 20% ahead of the five Air Mobility Command (AMC) bases. Moreover, she meticulously in-checked and processed 7,000 parts with a bill of lading value of $200 million while maintaining a remarkable 97% input accuracy rate. Furthermore, her extensive technical expertise and strict attention to detail led to the swift resolution of 20 high priority maintenance requests, aiding a superlative 98.6% on time aircraft departure rate and exceeding the AMC standard of 95 percent. Finally, her superior Receiving contributions received zero write ups in the section during the 2009-2010 Logistics LCAP and Compliance Inspections which directly contributed to the overall "Excellent" rating both for the unit and the wing.
