During this period, the professional skill, leadership, and ceaseless efforts of Sergeant Strickland contributed to the effectiveness and success of the Air Force mission. Sergeant Strickland accomplished the reconstitution of pharmacy operations in less than four hours after the unexpected closure of the satellite pharmacy. He lead a team of 13 Airmen in transforming a storage area into a state of the art automated refill dispensing section. In addition, he relocated a seventy thousand dollar robotics system which was critical for mission success and patient safety. His initiative resulted in the successful implementation of the new area, utilizing existing assests, saved the unit more than sixty thousand dollars, and ensured zero interruptions to patient care. Bolton distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Medical Logistics Journeyman, 6th Medical Support Squadron, 6th Medical Group, Macdill Air Force Base, Florida. During this period, Airman Bolton procured twenty four million dollars in pharmaceuticals for the Air Force's fifth largest pharmacy, filling more than five hundred thousand prescriptions and maintaining a ninety nine percent pharmacy fill rate, exceeding the Air Mobility Command standard. In addition, he provided support for one hundred and fifteen cost centers and fifty two tenate units. Her leadership was vital to 940 prescription interventions for a savings of 53,000 dollars for the Department of Defense. During this period, Sergeant Hall's unsurpassed work ethic contributed to the issue of more than 450,000 prescriptions annually. As the flight contract compliance monitor, she performed quarterly line item inspections and researched acceptable Basic Core Formulary substitutions which resulted in the identification of over 180 medications and ensured the pharmacy was Basic Core Formulary compliant. In addition, she directed the flight in-service program which developed and implemented five lesson plans for 32 pharmacy technicians which improved team awareness of new, updated, and usage information on the latest market products. Finally, Sergeant Hall administered the Tobacco Cessation program and facilitated two classes per week, resulting in 225 members breaking the habit in less than a year. Major Richard S. Stregles distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Pharmacist, 445th Aeromedical Staging Squadron, 445th Airlift Wing, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. During this period, Major Stregles supervised and mentored one pharmacist and five pharmacy technicians in the compounding, labeling, and dispensing of over 10,000 prescriptions for the military community. His professionalism and enthusiasm improved Pharmacy customer service satisfaction by 25 percent. Further, he supervised the procurement, storage, and disposal of more than 50 critical CCATT narcotic and refrigerated medications, and updated methodology by which essential medications would be made immediately available for CCATT missions, dramatically improving wartime readiness for the 445th ASTS CCATT. Staff Sergeant Amy D. Lamoreaux distinguished herself by meritorious service while serving as Hazardous Materials Pharmacy Technician, 65th Logistics Readiness Squadron, 65th Air Base Wing, Lajes Field Air Base, Portugal. During this period Sergeant Lamoreaux performed the work of an entire work center, single-handedly preparing weekly warehouse validations and inspecting over 4,000 hazardous materials while maintaing a one hundred percent inventory accuracy rate. Additionally, she managed the shelf life program, validating 110 assets and saving more than one thousand dollars monthly by obtaining extensions. Moreover, she oversaw and safeguarded six thousand war reserve Hazmat materials, regularly performing stock rotation to ensure wing readiness. Finally, Sergeant Lamoreaux's leadership and knowledge was crucial to the preparation for the 2016 Unit Compliance Inspection. During this period, Sergeant Moore maintained a robotic medication dispensing system, decreasing prescription refill processing time by 35 percent. In addition, his attention to detail contributed to the recovery of 20,000 third party insurance forms, and two million dollars for Medical Group reutilization.
