During this period, Sergeant Jardine exploited more than 1,300 images and 1,900 hours of full motion video to produce 2,135 reports and products. His geospatial analysis drove POTUS level decisions that eliminated high priority threat networks, assisted in critical military equipment transportation, and provided aid to more than 51,000 Afghan refugees during Operation Allies Welcome. Additionally, he assisted in developing and briefing Medium Altitude Operations Center capabilities and operations to NATO mission partners, resulting in improved AOR threat mitigation as well as bolstering Partner Nation's search and rescue efforts. As a Geospatial Analyst, Sergeant Russo demonstrated proficiency and quickly achieved crew qualification and Special Operations Forces certifications employed by the Distributed Ground Station weapon system. Additionally, his operational commitment was critical to imagery exploitation and intelligence analysis of over 640 MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper combat sorties flown in support of Overseas Contingency Operations. Further, Sergeant Russo increased his commitment to the Global War on Terrorism while deployed to Operation ENDURING FREEDOM in support of the MC-12 Liberty platform. Senior Airman Jessica B. Wingate distinguished herself by meritorious service as Sensor Planner and Geospatial Analyst, 497th Operations Support Squadron, 480th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. During this period, as Sensor Planner, she skillfully planned 134 U-2 and RQ-4 missions and inspected 7,400 imagery products in support of Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn. Additionally, she successfully analyzed 224 hours of full motion video which resulted in the discovery of eight roadside Improvised Explosive Devices. Furthermore, she introduced new training guidelines for the RQ-4 tracker which increased work efficiency by at least 20 percent. Moreover, she steered a U-2 to an additional 140 time critical targets, enabling identification of insurgent tactics, techniques, and procedures. Finally, during a compound assault, she directed friendly forces to enemy locations leading to nine insurgent detainees. During this period, the professional skill, leadership, and ceaseless efforts of Sergeant Johnson were crucial to the maintenance of a 12 million dollar SATCOM system in support of 2,500 global U-2 and UAS missions. His unprecedented vigilance and meticulous attention to detail enabled exploitation of over 125,000 Geospatial Intelligence products, and the capture of 500 High-value Targets. In addition, while deployed to Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, he coordinated 6,300 MC-12 mission sorties and redirected 57 air assets, providing close air support to over 300 troops in contact. Furthermore, he developed an identification system for 30 Army aircraft, enhancing inter service mission scheduling and establishing over 5,000 hours of full motion video for the warfighter. Finally, Sergeant Johnson pioneered the unit implementation of the Management Internal Control Toolset, training 73 personnel and managed the completion of 2,200 inspection items in a third of the required timeframe.
