Executive Communication Technician

Staff Sergeant Jasmine S. Blunt distinguished herself by outstanding achievement as Executive Communication Technician to Commander Pacific Air Forces, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. During this period, Sergeant Blunt operated a forty-two thousand dollar communication Fly-Away Kit, ensuring Commander Pacific Air Forces maintained access to critical communication capabilities on six worldwide missions. Additionally, her expertise and ingenuity were essential to integrating the first ever SecureView with a Boeing C-37 communication system for Commander Pacific Air Forces, ensuring persistent command, control, communication, computers and intelligence access in support of 46,000 Airmen in the Pacific theater. Furthermore, as the lead subject matter expert, Sergeant Blunt established new operating standards for her Executive Communication Team and guided five members through an extensive on-the job training course ensuring high standards of communication support on eight four-star trips spanning over 53 percent of the Earth's Surface. Finally, Sergeant Blunt ensured a one-hundred percent network uptime for the Joint Forces Air Component Commander's Pacific Iron exercise which increased the involvement with the Agile Combat Employment concept and ultimately contributed to the Executive Communication Team winning the third-quarter Pacific Air Forces Team award. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Blunt reflect credit upon herself and the United States Air Force.
