During this period, Airman Salinas performed Comm Focal Point duties, responding to over two thousand SIPR e-mails, over twenty five hundred calls, and closing 130 trouble tickets, restoring service for 3,678 personnel. In addition, she addressed Ankara's asset management shortfall, efficiently training nine Airmen, while simultaneously leading a team that configured 25 laptops, facilitating 48 military and local employees in executing 425 EOY contract actions. Moreover, Airman Salinas led an 8-member team for the Turkiye Smart Card program which procured 300 tokens, created 12 SOPs, and trained three Airmen, resolving a 12-month system fault and preventing a forty million dollar contract default. Further, she resolved Microsoft 365 issues, eliminating a six month backlog of 107 tokens, and streamled processes for restoring NIPR access for 276 personnel through collaboration with eight partners. Staff Sergeant Clifford J. Kane distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Client Systems Technician, 97th Communications Squadron, 97th Mission Support Group, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma. During this period, Sergeant Kane managed the 97th Communications Focal Point work center, where he supervised seven personnel in the resolution of two thousand trouble tickets and 234 Technical Compliance Network Orders which assisted in solidifying an excellent rating during the 2020 Command Cyber Readiness Inspection. Additionally, Sergeant Kane facilitated seven Client Support Administrator forums where he instructed training courses for twenty five information technology professionals representing fifteen organizations, enhancing the spectrum of client support for over three thousand users wing wide. Finally, he led a four member bed-down team in the deployment of 153 network assets which established three Command and Control facilities for the first KC-46 Tanker unit. Master Sergeant Richard H. Mahoney distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as NCOIC, Communications Focal Point, 190th Communications Flight, 190th Air Refueling Wing, Forbes Field, Topeka, Kansas. During this period, while serving as the Communications Focal Point Non Commissioned Officer in Charge, Sergeant Mahoney oversaw multiple critical upgrades and migrations for the Wing's network and computer systems ensuring full compliancy with Department of Defense standards. His extensive knowledge of multiple complex information technology systems and their applications and limitations resulted in minimal impact to the customers daily tasks and readiness. Additionally, Sergeant Mahoney's multiple deployments provided enhanced technical skills and improved security for the United States while serving on multiple task forces in both PACOM and CENTCOM Areas of Responsibility in support of multiple operations. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Mahoney reflect credit upon himself, the 190th Communications Flight and the United States Air Force.




Airman First Class Derrick M Candler distinguished himself by outstanding achievement as Communications Focal Point Technician, 27th Intelligence Squadron, 480th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Viginia. During this period, Airman Candler led the communications focal point day shift and successfully renamed 519 systems, in preparation for the Air Force wide network consolidation, three months ahead of schedule with zero user impact. In addition, he was instrumental in resolving more than 80 unscheduled network outages and restoring intelligence mission planning capabilities in support of 13,000 ISR mission taskings and the identification of more than 230 improvised explosive devices. Furthermore, he maintained 31 servers providing four terrabytes of data storage for two thousand users, assuring continuous access to ISR data for warfighters. Finally, he facilitated C4I network operations monitoring, providing around the clock vigilance for 66 systems, ensuring two point five million images were available in supporting OCO ISR missions. Staff Sergeant Wendell P. Simpson distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Communications Focal Point Supervisor, 607th Support Squadron, 607th Support Group, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. During this period, Sergeant Simpson led three emergency remote site visits to analyze and perform critical repairs on ten systems, guaranteeing the availability of command and control vital to Republic of Korea Air Force operations. In addition, he established command and control capabilities for Australian and Canadian counterparts by building two CENTRIX systems, enabling U.S. Forces Korea joint training objectives. Further, Sergeant Simpson aided an Office of Special Investigation's foreign disclosure incident by analyzing a classified hard drive and providing copies of all collected data, resulting in the closure of a Secretary of the Air Force level investigation. Finally, he restored a vital Special Ops collaborative tool by rebuilding 25 profiles, restoring SOF command and control for a Joint Chief of Staff level Exercise.
