Bulk Receiving Awards


Staff Sergeant Scott D. Pugh distinguished himself by outstanding achievement as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Bulk Receiving, 455th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron, 455th Expeditionary Mission Support Group, 455th Expeditionary Wing, Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. During this period, Sergeant Pugh expedited 390 Mission Capable assets worth 21 million dollars in support of over 50 aircraft and over five thousand Close Air Support missions. Additionally, he tracked and located 12 misplaced Mission Capable assets, reducing down time while saving the Air Force over 24 man hours and 880 thousand dollars. Moreover, Sergeant Pugh meticulously in-checked and processed 541 critical assets valued at 17 million dollars for 37 maintenance units. Furthermore, he turned-in over 13 million dollars worth of Due In for Maintenance (DIFM) assets back to the depot for repair, averaging a spectacular nine minutes per request, ensuring the fastest turn around process possible. Finally, Sergeant Pugh provided security for 180 personnel during one of the largest enemy attacks against Bagram Airfield. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Pugh reflect credit upon himself, the 455th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron and the United States Air Force.
