Staff Sergeant Daniel H. Boone distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Monitor, 105th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS), 105th Airlift Wing, Stewart Air National Guard Base, Newburgh, New York. During this period Sergeant Boone served as the Aircraft Maintenance Squadron's Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Monitor and ensured calibration of equipment was completed along with all associated paperwork. In addition, he took charge and reviewed requirements and combined "mobility" and "flight line" PMEL accounts into one, saving valuable resources, reducing backlog, and streamlining the process of maintaining over 80 pieces of PMEL equipment. Moreover, on two occasions, on his own initiative, he personally escorted unit equipment to the laboratory at McGuire Air Force Base when it was realized a possible mission delay could result. His actions eliminated costly delays and ensured critical equipment was mission ready. Senior Airman Robert A. Crowley distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory Apprentice, 35th Maintenance Squadron, 35th Fighter Wing, Misawa Air Base, Japan. During this period, Airman Crowley performed over 350 calibration and repair actions, maintaining a 100 percent quality pass rate that led to the Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory's outstanding 97 percent quality pass rate and 98 percent equipment availability rate. Additionally, he refurbished a critical armament circuit preload tester cable, which enabled weapons release system testing and restored mission capability across the 35th Fighter Wing's 44 aircraft. Finally, as a vital component in the flight's Operational Readiness Exercise preparation program, Airman Crowley coordinated Land Mobile Radio training for 30 Force Protection members and assisted in Individual Protective Equipment inspections. Technical Sergeant Randall S. Bushcraft distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory Section Supervisor, 31st Maintenance Squadron, 31st Maintenance Group, 31st Fighter Wing, Aviano Air Base, Italy. During this period, Sergeant Bushcraft led seven Airmen to complete over 1,300 calibrations and repairs on a variety of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment, which boosted the Wing's equipment availability rate to 98 percent and a United States Air Forces Europe Command best. In addition, he conducted linear standards training during the Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program Audit which was key to the lab's second consecutive on-the-spot certification. Furthermore, his actions culminated in the group winning the 2014 United States Air Forces in Europe Clements McMullen Memorial Daedalian Weapon System Maintenance Trophy and 2015 Secretary of Defense Field-Level Maintenance Award. Finally, as a Quality Assurance Evaluator, Sergeant Bushcraft validated the alignment of an F-16 line-of-sight boresight fixture, directly contributing to over 3,200 flying hours and 520 combat sorties during Operation ODYSSEY DAWN. Senior Airman Robert J. Kennedy distinguished himself by meritorious service while serving as Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory Technician, 8th Maintenance Squadron, 8th Fighter Wing (FW), Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea. During this period, Airman Kennedy calibrated or repaired all test equipment supporting the INDOPACOM AOR. He led the calibrations of voltage detector reference standards, enabling the 35th FW and 80th AMU to perform 940 bomb rack and fuel tank inspections for 45 F-16 Fighting Falcons, directly supporting Distant Frontier and RED-FLAG Alaska, a large-scale field training exercise. Additionally, he repaired and certified 8th Civil Engineer squadron's critical ground meter tester, enabling 88 static and lighting protection system inspections, safeguarding 1.4 billion dollars in weapons storage assets. Finally, Airman Kennedy eliminated the Pennsylvania Air National Guard's aircraft battery maintenance deficiency by establishing their first-ever charging capability, directly supporting 1,500 flying hours and 430 sorties.
