In addition, he took charge and reviewed requirements and combined "mobility" and "flight line" PMEL accounts into one, saving valuable resources, reducing backlog, and streamlining the process of maintaining over 80 pieces of PMEL equipment. Senior Airman Robert A. During this period, Sergeant Bushcraft led seven Airmen to complete over 1,300 calibrations and repairs on a variety of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment, which boosted the Wing's equipment availability rate to 98 percent and a United States Air Forces Europe Command best. In addition, he conducted linear standards training during the Air Force Metrology and Calibration Program Audit which was key to the lab's second consecutive on-the-spot certification. Furthermore, his actions culminated in the group winning the 2014 United States Air Forces in Europe Clements McMullen Memorial Daedalian Weapon System Maintenance Trophy and 2015 Secretary of Defense Field-Level Maintenance Award. He led the calibrations of voltage detector reference standards, enabling the 35th FW and 80th AMU to perform 940 bomb rack and fuel tank inspections for 45 F-16 Fighting Falcons, directly supporting Distant Frontier and RED-FLAG Alaska, a large-scale field training exercise. Additionally, he repaired and certified 8th Civil Engineer squadron's critical ground meter tester, enabling 88 static and lighting protection system inspections, safeguarding 1.4 billion dollars in weapons storage assets. Finally, Airman Kennedy eliminated the Pennsylvania Air National Guard's aircraft battery maintenance deficiency by establishing their first-ever charging capability, directly supporting 1,500 flying hours and 430 sorties.
